Generals Eisenhower and Patton, along with men of the 4th Armored Division, view the charred remains of prisoners at the Ohrdruf Concentration Camp. Survivors of Auschwitz, Dachau, Buchenwald, and Sachsenhausen were sent to Ohrdruf as slave labor. As the Allies approached, the majority were led on a death march back to Buchenwald. Those remaining were either shot by the SS, or locked in barracks and burned alive.
